Match the material to the hazard.

Four rubber platforms cover most industrial exposure: EPDM for broad chemical and weather resistance, butyl for ketones and esters, CSM for solvents and high temperature, and injection-molded compounds for boot shells. This page explains which one to specify, and where each is certified.

Two product groups

Hands and feet, specified separately.

Gloves are transfer-molded for wall-thickness control and cleanroom compatibility. Boots are injection-molded for a seamless, waterproof shell with integrated toe and midsole protection.

HANDS

Specialized gloves

Four glove families cover isolator work, live electrical work, chemical handling and radiation-shielded environments. All are ambidextrous unless noted, with rolled bead cuffs and a smooth palm.

FEET

Safety boots

Injection-molded boots for mining, oil and gas, chemical plants, utilities and fire response. Safety toe, metatarsal shield, Kevlar midsole and EVA cushioning are built into the mold rather than added in assembly.

What each compound is for.

Use this as a first filter. Final selection needs the chemical name, concentration, temperature and contact duration — send us the list and we will confirm against permeation data.

Size helper

Work out the size before you order.

Two measurements get you most of the way: the glovebox port diameter for box gloves, and foot length for boots. Enter the number and we will point you at the right size.

mm

Enter the inner diameter of the glovebox port to see the matching port size.

cm

Measure both feet and use the longer one. Boots are supplied in sizes 6#–13#.

Estimates only. Confirm against the product data sheet before ordering, or send us the measurement.

Certification map

Standards you will see on our documents.

Certification is per product, not per brand. Each product page lists the standards the model is tested to; the data sheet carries the results.

EN

EN 388 / EN 374

Mechanical risk and chemical permeation for protective gloves, including EN 374-5 micro-organism and EN 421 radiation protection.

ASTM

ASTM F2413 / D471

Protective footwear impact and compression performance, plus rubber resistance to chemical and oil immersion.

FDA

Food-contact materials

Food-grade EPDM and CSM compounds available for pharmaceutical and food processing applications.

CSA

CSA certified

CSA certification is part of our international certification set for North American footwear customers.

Common questions

Before you specify.

Do you supply samples before a production order?

Yes. We send sample pairs for evaluation, with the matching data sheet and declaration of conformity where available. Contact us with the model and size you want to evaluate.

Can gloves be sterilized or cleaned in place?

EPDM glovebox gloves are sterilizable by autoclaving and hydrogen peroxide. Cleaning method depends on the compound and the chemical being handled — confirm with the data sheet before introducing a new cleaning agent.

What port sizes and thicknesses are available?

Glovebox gloves are available in port sizes from 6" to 12" and thicknesses of 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm, with a standard 800 mm length and 10# hand size. Other configurations are available on request.

Where do you ship from?

Production ships from our manufacturing site, and a new manufacturing base in Alabama, USA is under construction to shorten lead times for North American customers.
